A home for records

Music deserves a room, not a feed.

Noosic gives every album a place of its own, turns what you listen to into a pixel room you can walk into, and introduces you to people by the records you both keep.

Free. No ads. Apple Music optional. Invite-only right now — ask someone who is already here.

Noosic: a pixel room, search, and album rooms.
  • One room per record

Art, threads and moments, kept with the album.

  • Neighbours by taste

Matched on what you keep, not on who is loud.

  • A room that furnishes itself

Your listening becomes a place you can walk into.

How it works

Three moves. Everything else follows.

  1. 01

    Pick a record

Search any album or song. Its room is already there — the record in the middle, the conversation around it.

  2. 02

    Keep what matters

Put it on your shelf. Three records make a mix you can play, and your shelf is how neighbours find you.

  3. 03

    Come home

Your listening shapes a pixel room. Furnish it, hang posters, and leave the door open for gifts.

Your room

A place that remembers what you played.

It starts as a shell. Objects arrive from your listening, posters from artists you follow, gifts from neighbours who stop by. Nooks — the house currency you earn by being here — pay for the furniture.

  1. Day one

    Your shell

Four walls and a floor. Yours.

  2. A month in

    Objects arrive

Furniture from what you actually play.

  3. Lived in

    The door's open

    Gifts, posters, the player on.

Album rooms

The record stays in the middle.

Not a comment box under a player. Every album and every song has a permanent room, and what people say there stays attached to the music.

  • Threads and moments, tied to the record and its tracks.
  • Reachable from search or your shelf — a room you can return to.
  • Artists appear as themselves, verified, in their own rooms.

Neighbours

Neighbours, not followers.

We match people on what they keep, not on who is loud. Follow a shelf and it sits in your sidebar; visit a room and leave something behind.

What we won't build

Some things are missing on purpose.

  • No feed

Nothing autoplays and nothing is ranked for engagement. Discover shows finds from neighbours, and when you dismiss one it stays gone.

  • No ads

Noosic is free. People who want to can support it and get a gold heart — never fewer ads, because there are none.

  • No numbers race

No follower counts, no play counts on display. A shelf says more about a person than a leaderboard ever could.

Listening

Bring Apple Music when you want playback.

Connect it for full in-app playback, library sync and a room that follows what you play. Without it, everything else still works — previews included.

Listen on Apple Music

For artists

Be in the room where people already talk about your records.

Claim your band, verify ownership, and show up as yourself — in album rooms, on your page, and inside the rooms of the people who listen.

  • Claim your page

Verify once. From then on you appear as official in your album rooms and on your profile.

  • Leave things in rooms

Posters, gifts and unlockable objects for people who already listen — not another link in a bio.

  • Stay close, stay quiet

A presence where your listeners already are. No ads, no growth dashboard, no feed to feed.

Questions

The short answers.

Is Noosic free?

Yes, all of it. There is an optional Supporter tier for people who want to keep the lights on; it adds a badge and a few extras, nothing you need.

Do I need Apple Music?

No. Search, rooms, shelves, discussions and neighbours work without it. Connect Apple Music when you want full in-app playback and a room synced to your library.

What are Nooks?

The house currency. You earn them by listening, picking a Song of the Day, joining discussions and visiting rooms, and spend them on furniture and room upgrades.

Why is it sometimes invite-only?

We grow neighbourhood by neighbourhood. When invites are on, anyone already here can bring you in with a link from their Settings.
